Francesca flatters!

Francesca Defty from Full Circle Model Management Cape Town has come down all the way from Liverpool to spend season with us in this gorgeous city - Cape Town!

Nicole Grant worked her brushes and made Francesca look fabulous for shooting beauty on the beach!

It was a rainy fresh day in Cape Town, but knew this would be perfect for the shoot. We had some rain as we arrived, but it stopped soon enough for us to get shooting. Thank you Francesca for braving it in the cold with us! You were fantastic!

The sun even made a sneaky appearance at the end to round of a perfect day!

Dominique dominating Beauty

Recently I had the honor shooting gorgeous Cape Town model Dominique Lamon from ICE Models, who is quite the globe trotter.
She has such a bubbly personality which made it an ever greater pleasure working with her.
Our make up wizard was no other than amazing Suaad Dawood!
I went to Lolavie Clothing and hired a couple of turbans for our beauty shoot.

Tim Walker is a British fashion photography. His work = perfect execution! And he's one of my favorite photographers. There w 

High-Style was featured in Italy's Vogue September issue. Malgosia Bela, a gorgeous Polish Model and actress; was the perfect choice for this shoot.

A shoot like this takes an entire team of talented people, from the model, to the stylists, hair & make-up, set dressers, extra's and and and... I would love to work with a team like this! STYLISTS out there, let's shoot :) Phenomenal outcome! Outstanding! Enjoy...

Beauty with Peggy

Make up artist Colleen from Bird on a Wire paints magic with her brushes and styles wonders with her comb and fingers.
We went for the less conventional crisp beauty and decided to take it to the edgy side in post.

Peggy from D&A Models was our gorgeous face for our beauty collaboration. This was actually one of Peggy's first ever shoot and she delivered!

Thanks great team :) had fun on the shoot and enjoyed editing these!

Tammy's time to shine!

My 'Be you. You are beautiful' winner Tammy Dollie did a great job on her first shoot! She was very nervous at first, but eventually managed to calm her nerves. I would be nervous too if this were my first time. All eyes and I mean ALL eyes are on you! And that must be rather nerve-racking! But despite that she did GREAT!

Colleen gave her the flawless look to go with her rocking hair! Monique made her look stellar with accessories and gorgeous garments.

Fabulous Joyce from Full Circle Model Management joined myself and Monique on our little story - decked out!

Monique is a friend of mine also in the industry. Conveniently enough she is a stylist and we finally have decided to work together. Our collaboration was full of pre prod discussions, much fun and very successful! I decided to use Joyce again as she was perfect for this! 

As Cape Town's unpredictable weather has it, we shot in sunshine, wind, rain, overcast, you name it! All seasons in one day! Thank you Joyce for braving it in the cold with us :)

We kept it simple, natural and laid back.

Bird on a Wire

Just before summer hits the Cape Town scene; when all models flock from all over the world to this stunning city to work in our fabulous industry; Bird on a Wire has taken me on to their books for this upcoming season. Which of course makes me a very happy freelancing photographer.

I am proud to be a part of their team and am very much looking forward to start this season on their books.

Yrsa Ward from 20 Management was the perfect face for our Metallics beauty story with amazing make up artist Kirsten Murphy.

Gold, Bronze and Silvers were used. Got to play with some natural light and studio lights.
